Thank you for the beautiful pics and the yummy recipe. The beauty of America is that each person has the opportunity to celebrate as they choose. The opportunity to not participate in a post, or read a book, or watch a TV show or movie is ours to choose, as well. I choose to enjoy your posts and will continue to do so.
Everything looks delicious! I loved the video on the Smash Burgers. We stay home on the 4th but are having hot dogs and I just made a red-white-and blue jello dessert with blueberries, cream, and raspberries!
You probably already know this--and I hate to be a killjoy--but it is recommended that pregnant women should not eat raw sprouts. Microgreens have also been recalled many times for the same reasons. Dangerous bacteria are endemic to the dry sprouting seeds (especially alfalfa seeds)--even if you sprout them yourself. The danger is that if you get food poisoning while pregnant, it can be very dangerous for the unborn baby--the culprits are E. coli, Listeria, Salmonella, and others.
Thank you for your endless generosity and knowledge about cooking! Wishing you a healthy delivery and recovery when the baby arrives. I love your posts in all social media accounts: FB, Insta and substack.
