Thank you so much for sharing pictures and notes regarding your family vacation and your hometown. What a beautiful area where your family lives -- and your husband's too. Gorgeous! These pictures make me appreciate your wonderful recipes even more! I look forward to each one of your posts, as do so many of your "followers." Again, thank you for sharing!

Thank you for sharing your trip and the pictures. You are making me hungry, especially with your description of breakfast - my favorite breakfast in Istanbul included cheese borek and fresh tomatoes that taste so much better than most of the ones you find in the stores.
I visit Turkey in business twice a year and there is no shortage of any foods. I try various restaurants.
When did you start skiing, as Erzurum is quite the place to ski. I had kadaiyf dolması with pistaschio, I was told it’s a special specific sweets to Erzurum. Maybe you make it one day.
Oh by the way. I live in Manhattan, and have dinner at Turkuaz in Manhattan, any relation..? They been around a while now.
Will the name be an issue when you open your bakery in DC..?
